*Opening Prayer and Lord’s Prayer - (Trespasses)

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. AMEN.

479 Oh How He Loves You and Me

*Commitment to Worship - (from Psalm 11)

Leader: In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain."

People: For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.

Leader: When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

People: The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them.

Leader: The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates.

People: For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.
